Monmouth Crossing has an employment opportunity available for
- Participates in the department’s Quality Assurance program.
- Assists with the day to day operation of the assigned area in a manner consistent with departmental goals and objectiives.
- Provides follow up of staff work assignments.
- Prepares the department schedule. Posts schedule on a timely basis ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Adjusts schedule as necessary for emergencies.
- Assists in the preparation and maintenance of department budget.
- Does inventory and orders department supplies as necessary. Maintains an adequate level of supplies to deliver quality patient care and customer service.
- Effectively performs a variety of housekeeping functions including mopping, dusting, sanitizing, wiping, scrubbing, buffing, and other manual jobs on floors, walls, beds, furniture, fixtures etc.
- Performs patient/resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning.
- Operates floor-cleaning machinery to maintain hard flooring and carpets.
- Collects and disposes of regular and medical wastes at loading dock.
- Disinfects and sanitizes all counter tops, washers, dryers, and other furniture following established departmental procedures and meeting quality standards.
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
1 year experience in healthcare facility
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Must have thorough knowledge of cleaning and floor techniques, all housekeeping equipment and cleaners, and infection control and waste disposal procedures. Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team
