CentraState Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a proactive self-starter who thrives on exceeding the objectives at hand. Working with a first class HR team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist, collaborates with the TA director to implement a best-in-class strategic framework that ensures the selection of top tier talent across all nursing departments.    

This individual serves as a key talent adviser to build competitive advantage through our people and through the use of technology and innovative solutions that enhance CentraState’s employer brand & improve the current talent selection process.

 

The Talent Acqusition Specialist will focus on supporting our nursing departments at our Freehold, NJ 07728 location. 

 

Responsibilities

As the primary nurse recruitment team member, your responsibilities include:

  • In collaboration with the Talent Sourcing Specialist, develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and pipelines that attract and identify passive, top talent.
  • Ensure adherence to the selection process and accuracy of data in applicant tracking system (iCIMs).
  • Provide superior customer service and candidate experience.
  • Create and maintain a business partnership with hiring managers by working pro-actively and cooperatively to understand requirements, determine needs, and establish strategies to successfully fill positions.
  • Work collaboratively with department managers to select the best candidate for each job. Is timely and responsive to managers’ needs.
  • Interview and assess candidates (phone screens and in-person) using behavioral, competency-based interviewing techniques and tools.
  • Pro-actively source, access, interview, and hire qualified candidates. This includes posting jobs, networking and sourcing across multiple candidate development channels, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in person and advising hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Make offers of employment to internal and external candidates following HR and compensation policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Applicant Flow, Job Folders, and sourcing/reporting are in compliance with OFCCP/EEO guidelines and internal SOPs.
  • Support and assist director with training new team members.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree is required or ten (10)+ years of recruitment experience in lieu of degree

 

Work Experience:

Nurse recruitment experience preferred.

3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment preferred

 

Licenses and Certifications:

Certified Interviewer preferred.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner in order to build strong relationships with potential recruits, current applicants, and hiring managers.
  • Advanced demonstrated proficiency in using an Applicant Tracking System, preferably iCIMS.
  • Advanced demonstrated proficiency sourcing active and passive candidates through all available channels (including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Job boards, networking events, Facebook)
  • Must be a proactive self-starter who thrives on exceeding objectives.
  • Must be excited and able to flourish in an environment that requires juggling multiple projects.
  • Excellent follow-through, sense of urgency, ability to work on their own and be self-sufficient.
  • Demonstrated experience in an environment of multiple and changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Superb communication skills.
