The SPD Workforce Development Training Program includes hands-on training within the department at CentraState Medical Center and flexible online courses. Training is Monday-Friday, from 9AM-5PM, then second shift 3PM-11PM, and every other weekend. - Starting pay at $22.00/hr plus shift differential for Evening and Night shifts (once certified)
- Transfer as an Aide progress into a FT Sterile Processing Tech in as little as two month through the Online Training via HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association)
Requirements:
- Must be certified within 6 months (Goal is 2 months)
- High School Diploma required
- Internal applicants must attend an information session outlining the program overview, curriculum, requirements and job outlook
- Applicants must be an employee for at least 1 year or in current role for 1 year, and be in good standing
- No previous experience necessary
